Camp site

So far these two guys I'm moving the trail with.  One is a retired marine, the other is a college professor.

My daily schedule, get up first light and hit the trail.  Every hiker hikes alone all day. Then about one hour before dusk meet up at designated location.  Some times they are there and sometimes they just disappear and you never see them again.
Myself and the marine work well together and trust each other. So I think we will hang together for a while.

  1. Your schedule sounds good. Do you and the Marine hike together during the day? It is good to have a buddy. Is the professor still with you?

  2. I remember on the plane you said you hoped you would find someone to camp with at night. You were concerned about being able to trust people, and you were worried about what being alone for days upon days would do to you mentally. As humans, we are social creatures, it has nothing to do with machismo. All I have to say is faith has provided. Glad you found a fellow military man to pass the nights with, and something to look forward to at the end of the day. A friend to share all that you have experienced on your hike. Stay warm and safe. Thanks for the updates!
